Neutrophils are the most abundant circulating granulocytes and the first responders of the innate immune system, mediating rapid antimicrobial defense through phagocytosis, degranulation, reactive oxygen species production, and neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation. As critical mediators of acute inflammation and host defense, neutrophils serve as an essential system for studying bacterial and fungal infections, autoimmune disorders, and drug-induced neutropenia or neutrophil dysfunction.

MileCell's neutrophils are isolated from fresh peripheral blood via density gradient centrifugation and erythrocyte lysis, with every lot validated for high purity, viability, and immunophenotyping by flow cytometry. Available in fresh format, they can be used in applications spanning bacterial killing assays, netosis studies, chemotaxis assays, degranulation and ROS measurement, and drug toxicity screening.
