Dendritic cells (DCs) are the most potent professional antigen-presenting cells, capable of initiating and regulating adaptive immune responses by capturing, processing, and presenting antigens to naive T cells. Monocyte-derived DCs serve as a widely used model system for studying antigen presentation, immune activation, tolerance induction, and the development of DC-based cancer vaccines and immunotherapies.
MileCell offers both immature DCs (iDCs) and mature DCs(mDC), both generated from peripheral blood CD14+ monocytes. Immature DCs exhibit high antigen-uptake capacity with low expression of co-stimulatory molecules, making them ideal for studying DC maturation, antigen processing, and immune tolerance. Mature DCs display elevated expression of CD83, HLA-DR, CD80, CD86, and CD40, along with enhanced T-cell priming capability, suited for immune activation and vaccine development. Every lot is validated for cell viability and immunophenotype to ensure consistent quality. Available in fresh and cryopreserved formats, they can be used in applications spanning antigen presentation assays, T-cell priming, DC vaccine development, immune tolerance studies, and drug immunogenicity testing.
