CD8+ T cells serve as both the primary force directly eliminating tumor cells and key players in modulating the immune microenvironment and activating other immune cells. Thus, the isolation of high-quality CD8+ T cells is critical in the development of cell-based immunotherapies.
MileCell MagSep™ CD8 MicroBeads employs nanoscale beads composed of dextran-coated iron oxide particles. These beads are designed to ensure no cytotoxicity or aberrant activation of cells. When used in a uniform magnetic field, only a minimal amount of beads is captured for cell labeling. CD8+ T Cells isolated via positive selection can be directly used in downstream applications such as T cell activation and expansion.

CD8+ cells were isolated from human PBMCs using MileCell MagSep™ CD8 Microbeads. The obtained cells werefluorescently stained with anti-CD8-APC-Cy7 and analyzed by flow cytometry.



Figure. Isolated CD8+ T cells were stimulated with coated anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies and cultured for 3 days, followed by flow cytometry detection of cell proliferation. Results show that CD8+ T cells isolated using MileCell MagSep™ CD8 MicroBeads exhibited the same level of proliferation activity as those isolated with competitor products.
